Merchandise Manager
Great Opportunity for Creatives!

The Merchandise Manager, is responsible for creating merchandise plans at the category and product level and will execute plans by monitoring performance, curating merchandise assortments, buying goods from third parties, designing and processing all orders and allocating goods appropriately. This position requires strong attention to details, excellent design skills and forecast modeling abilities. This is a collaborative position and will require working both cross-functionally with internal production teams and other stakeholders externally with third party vendors.
Responsibilities & Duties
Timely process merchandise orders through design, proofing and order processing.
Identifies risks and opportunities for the business through store and product performance and trend analysis. Determines product line success and suggests changes in business strategies based on findings.
Eblasts to establish lists via MailChimp and posted to FaceBook channels.
Assists with setting product pricing and promotion plans in collaboration with Marketing.
Contributes to the S&OP process by making sure supply matches demand. Works with Supply Chain resources to ensure demand plans are achieved through on-time fulfillment and strong allocation execution.
Develops strong professional relationships with third party vendors and other brands in the industry that supply goods in an on-demand environment.
Becomes a subject matter expert in industry-relevant products to ensure assortments are curated to their fullest potential.
Performs market and product research to bring in innovative and enticing new products to the brands.
May be responsible for supervising a small team as the department grows, including assigning work schedules, setting KPIs, providing training and coaching opportunities, and providing accountability and performance management
May be called on for occasional help with other graphic design duties.
Qualifications & Skills
Must be 21 years of age or older
Attention to Detail & Workflow
Understanding of MailChimp
Bachelor’s degree in design,marketing, business, or another related field
Experienced user of Microsoft Excel
Experienced user of Adobe Creative Suite, Specifically InDesign & Photoshop
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience managing and developing multi tasks preferred
Passion for problem solving
Ability to effectively manage complex projects with multiple varying deadlines and deliverables
Merchandise design helpful, but not necessary
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit, stand, and walk for at least 8 hours
Visual acuity needed for viewing screens and fine print
Manual dexterity needed for data entry

This is a position is a corporate office position.
