Josh, whose last name is pronounced Pout-ler, is the newest creative content manager/writer on the NERUS team. He joined the company in July, and is a graduate of Western Oregon University, where he obtained a bachelor’s degree in English studies with an emphasis in writing. Josh was editing at WOU for about a year when the pandemic hit.

He enjoys running, playing video and other table-top role-playing games such as Dungeons and Dragons in his spare time and is part of a weekly group of friends who gather to do just that. He likes the newer games such as “Vampire: The Masquerade,” but says it all appeals to him.

He enjoys crime movies and fantasy novels, metal music and occasionally draws and paints, too. At 6-foot too many inches (6.5) he occasionally runs into lower doorways and is cautious in the new NERUS offices.

He lives with his cat, Arlo, and he works out of the Salem corporate office.
