Clair Byrer is a Marketing Associate specializing in helping small businesses develop effective strategies for their Best ofcampaigns.

Originally from Southeast Alaska, Clair made a spontaneous decision to attend college in Oregon and quickly found a community that felt like home. She holds degrees in Communications and Sustainability, along with the equivalent of a minor in Computer Science. Passionate about environmental issues, she aspires to one day take up permanent residence in a hollow tree, fully embracing her inner Lorax.

Outside of work, Clair enjoys a variety of traditional crafts, including knitting, crochet, embroidery, and sewing—what she affectionately refers to as "old lady hobbies." She also spends plenty of time with her two beloved gray cats.

Before joining NERUS Strategies, Clair worked as the senior (and sometimes sole) employeein her university’s mailroom, managing the pressure of providing an essential service and fostering strong connections with mail couriers along the way.
