Justine Ackerman is an alumna of Ashland University, where she majored in English/Journalism & Digital Media and minored in Creative Writing. With a career background in copy editing, design, and office administration, Justine brings a wealth of experience to her work. Originally from Ohio, she moved to the Pacific Northwest in 2015, drawn by new opportunities, and quickly fell in love with the vibrant community and stunning landscapes of Oregon.

In her free time, Justine enjoys hiking, road trips, and the ongoing challenge of keeping her houseplants thriving. She currently lives in Salem with her husband and their small Russian tortoise, Galileo.
