Alex Kramer is a born-and-raised Oregonian with a passion for history, storytelling, and digital marketing. They hold two undergraduate degrees in history from Lewis & Clark College and a Master's degree in Digital Marketing from Western Governors University, blending analytical research skills with a forward-thinking approach to modern marketing.

After earning a second history degree from the University of Cambridge in 2017, Alex’s life took an unexpected turn with the sudden passing of their father later that year. In the wake of this loss, they put aside their post-college plans to help their brothers manage the family farm. In 2019, they transitioned away from the farm and explored various roles before discovering a passion for digital marketing. Committed to this new path, Alex earned their master's degree in 2024, leading to their role at NERUS—an organization whose innovation and ambition align with their own.

Now living in Mt. Angel with their fiancée, Cierra, and their dog, Arrakis (named after the desert planet from Dune, a nod to Alex’s late father’s favorite novel), Alex enjoys spending time with loved ones, writing, worldbuilding, and immersing themselves in Oregon’s natural beauty. As they begin their career at NERUS, Alex is eager to learn, collaborate, and find the best ways to contribute to the team’s success.
