April joined the NERUS team part-time in January 2023 after graduating with a degree in literature and writing from Western Oregon University in 2022. She is now the company’s full-time Director of Content and oversees most of the writing team. She previously had pieces published frequently while in school. She and her husband, Daniel stay involved with their church and April is into Bible study, playing music, backpacking and hiking, albeit somewhat slowly and deliberately. Her goal is to complete the entire Oregon portion of the legendary Pacific Crest Trail and she has so far completed a 50-mile section near the Three Sisters Mountain range and 100 miles from the Columbia River Gorge south to Mt. Hood. She works from the Salem corporate office.
