Best Of Northwest Arkansas

“We are excited to start voting on Monday, December 2nd,” begins Brent Powers, Publisher of the Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette. “Last year we made some major changes in our program, all to the benefit of our contestants. For local businesses, this is a great time to invite people to come into your establishment and experience first-hand your products, services, food and more.”

Last year, the contest was completely reimagined with the help of Oregon-based NERUS Strategies and their Best Of Programs platform. NERUS worked with the Democrat-Gazette to launch The Best of Branson and TheBestofBranson.com last year as well.

“The NERUS team brings in a highly focused approach and really is small business friendly. They help us deliver a world class experience,” said Beth Johnson, the Advertising Director for the Democrat-Gazette.

Nominations, voting and presentation of winners were completely new.

“It is an opportunity for anyone to experience the impact of digital and print marketing,” continued Powers. “We have also added more social media enhancements this year that we are excited about.”

What is The Best of Northwest Arkansas?

The Best of Northwest Arkansas 2019, invites, engages and allows the audience to recognize the best businesses, organizations and people in Northwest Arkansas. The focus is on businesses and entertainment that support, serve and do business in Northwest Arkansas.

The winners will be announced in advance at the Best of Gala. This ticketed event sells out quickly, and tickets are already on sale. The names of the winners will be posted and announced on Sunday, February 23, 2020 in the Sunday Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette. All winners will be honored in our Best of Northwest Arkansas special collector's edition magazine. In the event of a tie in any category, more than one winner may be awarded.
